Many pet parents who are vegan wish to feed their dogs and cats a vegan diet. However, it is the opinion of our veterinary team that cats cannot be fed a vegan diet. Cats are obligate carnivores, meaning they require a diet rich in animal-based ingredients.

For dogs, our vet does not recommend a vegan diet, as it goes against the BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) principle. While it may be possible to feed your dog a well-balanced vegan diet, we strongly advise consulting with your veterinarian first.
