What are the Wet & Dry Feeding Instructions for Cat Food?Updated 5 months ago

When feeding your cat Frontier Pets food, you have the option of both wet and dry varieties even when most cats prefer it dry. Refer to the daily feeding guide for the appropriate amounts for your pet, and follow the provided instructions for feeding.

1. Wet Feeding

Measuring by Cup: Add 1/4 cup (60 mL) of water to 1/3 cup (20 grams) of dry food. This will make around 80g of wet food. 

Measuring by Grams: For every 5g of dry food, add 15g of water. For example, for 20g of dry food, add 60g of water. This will make 80g of wet food.

Let stand until food soaks up some of the water. It should take less than 1 minute, however reconstitution times can vary.

2. Dry Feeding

Measuring by Cup: Measure the required amount using a metric cup (250ml capacity) and add to the bowl. 

Measuring by Grams: Measure the required amount in grams according to the daily feeding guide, and add to the bowl.

If feeding dry, place a bowl of fresh water next to the bowl of dry food to help your cat stay adequately hydrated when dry feeding.
